2010 JUDGES AND JUDGING PROCESS

There are seven award categories in the 2010 Risk Sentinel Awards, recognising excellence, innovation and leadership in risk management practice in Australia.

The 2010 Risk Sentinel Awards judging panel comprises of a selection of preeminent local and international experts in the field of risk management, with a cross-section of academic and professional experience across risk management, audit, compliance, business continuity and business management.

Submissions will be assessed against a set of essential and desirable criteria. This approach allows for flexibility in recognising innovation or creativity, while specific quantitative evidence linked to business outcomes validates qualitative claims.

Nominations are first reviewed by the Risk Magazine editorial team, where candidates will be short-listed as finalists, based on the individual award criteria.

Finalist nominations will then be passed on to the Risk Sentinel Awards judging panel where nominations will be discussed and winners and highly commended entries in each category will be decided.

Judges will expect nominations to meet as many criteria as possible
